Well, you are either born intelligent or you are not. But intelligence isn't everything. If you are intelligent, but choose not to work hard studying, than it doesn't matter they you are more intelligent than the next person who doesn't know much. You'll know just as little as he does. Intelligence makes learning a lot faster and easier, however, so a more intelligent person would need to put less work into something to get a good result.

There are different kinds of intelligence, though. Just because you might suck at math doesn't mean you aren't intelligent.

Intelligence is about ability to learn, ability to process information easily and effectively, and ability to perceive or things easily. Education is about learning stuff and expanding the amount of information one has on any subject. The person who works hard and studies may become more knowledgeable about the material/subjects he has studied, but education doesn't make someone more intelligent.

Science has established that it is nurturing during the first few years of life that is reponsible for having optimal brain connections being made. Nurturing can also be responsible for less-than-ideal brain connections being made.

I happen to believe that what an infant is born into (or adopted into) rather than what he is born with has far more impact on intelligence that many people recognize; however, even if there is the chance I overestimate the impact of nurturing, it is generally accepted that heredity has only a limited impact.

They are far more than intelligent, they are moral, they are charitable..., they are mines rich in valuable gems of various categories; no man/woman is less than any other human beings.
With training under a proper education they will all become attractive ruby, emerald, diamond...in the uneducated or wrongly educated dark world.
The present educational systems around the world are bitterly defective, because they were established based on the false concept of training man as an ape. At seeing that man performs some activities more intelligent than the ape, the educators pride themselves as attaining great success!
Proper education of man in this great age must create favorable environment for man/woman to synchonically develop himself/herself physically, mentally and spiritually, which cannot be applied for the monkey. The teacher will act as a co-exploiter with a child to unearth his/her mine, and no more as a monkey trainer for the circus.

I believe some people were born with the capacity to be smarter than others. Everyone has their own range of intelligence they can achieve. How high they reach within that range is up to the individual.
