It really all depends. Every school has it's own strengths and areas of focus. Some schools have great engineering programs, but not so good sociology programs. Other schools have great law schools but not so good agriculture programs. Great academics....terrible football teams....beautiful landscaping....bad traffic......nice dormitories.....bad cafeteria food. It's all relative....what makes a good college?

It's entirely based on what you want to major in, but as of right now, Princeton dominates all the other Ivies.

that of course depends on what area of study you are seeking. M.I.T. is great for technology and harvard and yale and georgetown are terrific for law. usc and ucla are good for drinking and partying and sometimes football. soooo, what are your interest?

THAT DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO MAJOR IN AND YOUR PERSONAL INTERESTS. UNIVERSITIES DON'T LIKE TO ADMIT IT BUT THEY ARE HIGHLY SPECIALIZED.
FOR EXAMPLE YOU DON'T WANT TO GO TO FSU TO STUDY HERPETOLOGY AND YOU DON'T WANT TO COME TO UF TO STUDY MOLECULAR BIOLOGY.
YOU DON'T WANT TO GO TO THE UNIV. OF TEXAS AND MAJOR IN AGRICULTURE OR TEXAS A&M TO STUDY MARINE BIOLOGY
