no no its not a trick.......im trying to find it in the 2.0-4.0 way...if its possible

Well, you set up the equation 87.32/100=x/4.
You multiply 87.32 times 4, and x times 100 to get 349.28=100x
You then divide both sides of the equation by 100 to get...
3.49

GPA is based on how many As,Bs, Cs, etc you have. Take your individual grades, mark them on the 10 pt scale and then take 4 for A, 3 for B, etc and get your gpa.
Of course some schools use different scales, like honors classes an A was 5 at my high school. So it all depends.

basically you have a 3.7 GPA. i just use the fact that in college, if you get a 90 or higher, you have 4.0, as it doesn't go higher than that. 3.0=B. or 80, and 2.0=C or 70. that's a pretty good way to break it down.

Your average should be rounded to the nearest whole number which in this case would be 87. And if your school system is anything like the one in my county, then your GPA is around 3.0-3.5. Congratulations!! You ARE passing so far.

I would contact your guidance counselor/advisor to find out what your exact GPA is on the 4.0 scale.

Isn't average and GPA (Grade Point Average) the same thing???
