She is required to read Eli Wiesel's, "Night" for freshman high school english class. This is her first time hearing the details about the Holocaust and concentration camps. She says it goes into so much detail she will have nightmares and feels she will need therapy. I told her that although it's true, it's over and it's important to know the facts because we try to make sure things like that don't happen again. She cries and shakes while reading it. What should I tell her to help her through this?
