to be honest, I would question the integrity of the teachers, many of which had no business doing what they were doing with their attitudes.
I would certainly leave the parochial schools, as money grabbing priests and subservient nuns had no qualifications to teach.
And I would have kicked a lot of asses that deserved to be kicked.

Beg and plead to attend the private school in the area. High school was a tragic waste of time, since it was so large and I got so lost in the sea of faces. As my guidance counselor once told my mother, only the bad kids get noticed, so I was allowed to cut class, not do homework, fade off, etc. Instead, I would have preferred smaller class sizes, a more austere aura, where students were rewarded for studying and learning, where it was a welcomed thing, instead of being weird.

I'd be more assertive, & apply myself more. I'd try to make friends.
I'd open up more with new kids & try to help them fit in.
I'd be more sympathetic to kids who had issues.
I'd actually attend classes.
I was a "A" student, but I never studied. It came naturally. I'd try to
stretch my mind & intellect more, I wonder how far I'd go if I tried.
Since I got excellent grades w/o trying.
