Other - Education - September 2006

I have never been the ";room mom" at school, no pta, just not really involved on the school end.
i have always been very supportive of my child, w/ homework ect.

my child having serious problems w/ bullys, so i put him in a wonderful private school, i could only do this because they are giving him a partial scholarship.

I want 2 be involved, helpful, whatever i can to keep my child in good standing, as well as express my graditute.

new to this- any ideas on what is needed, how to approach, what i can do?

Hi, How do you learn new words in a foreign language? Do you do something unusual to memorise them? How long after first view of new vords should i study them again? And how often should i recall them so that they stay in my long term memory? I live in a dorm and i dont have PC there, so buyng flashcard programs would have no sense.

I am currently training as a mentor as it is a part of a program I have to pass to qualify to be able to get into a class for vocational education training which is want I want to do work in schools with students who are finding things hard and getting into trouble.
my question is.
You are in a group with your mentoree and your mentoree starts telling the group a whole lot of things about them that you know are just not true.

?what should you do??
