im a building services engineer student and i have a report to write up on heating systems etc where do i star

Make a start by describing the principle of a simple heating sytem,ie. that hot water rises and cold water falls. This gives a simple idea of hot water circulation. Then expand this by the introduction of a circulating pump into the system. then add into that zone valves controlled by switches to run either the central heating only or hot water only, or both together. I hope this is of some help to you.
