oxygen is in very small quantity at an attitude so high.it is difficult even for a human to breath.therefore cooking food in himalayas is difficult

For cooking food you need fire, for fire u need oxygen, and in that height there is lack of oxygen, that is why it is difficult to cook food in the himalayas.

I think pressure cooker takes more heat to cook because at higher altitudes the boiling point of water is increased or some thing like that. but a more logical answer is due to extreme climatic conditions!
