So...i have to write a 6-8 page paper on huck finn. And im having a writer's block. I don't know how to start the intro. The prpmpt for the introduction is..."find a specific angle you can use to enter the discussion about comedy's attempt to break down societal barriers( the big picture). 1) 2+(3-4) to th second power
over
9-3 is the answer 1 third?
2) x-(yz) to the second power. x is 8, y is -3, z is 4. is the answer -136?
3) -2(4x-9)+5(6x+1) is the answer 13 over 22????
4) solve: 3x+15 = 5x-23 is the answer 19?
5) i have no idea how to do this one? solve for a: a over x-y =b
6) if 3x+2y=12, then y=
7) jane earned 67 points on the last math test. Bill earned 54 points less than twice Jane's scoe. What equation can use to find Bill's score? please explain how you got the answer!
8) this is a proportion: solve for n: n+3 over 4 = n-2 over 5

I'm reading Brave New World by Aldous Huxley in school & there are a billion vocabulary words i don't know. I teacher wants us to look them all up but its SSOOOO tedious!!!!!

Okay, I have an english assignment to rewrite a childrens story or nursery rhyme from a different point of view than that of which it was originally told from (ex. the book that tells the story of the 3 little pigs from the wolfs p.o.v.).
