all off the following for the following problems

1)Domain - including any undefined values
2)Range
3)Roots (if any exsist)
4)Y-intercepts
5)Interivals - where it increases/decreases/constant
6)inverse function and any restrictions that apply

#1 Linear Function - y=mx+b
#2 Cubic Function - y=ax^3+bx^2+cx+d
#3 Cubic Root Function - y=a(cubic root of x-k)+h
#4 Absolute value function - y=a|x-k|+h
#5 Rational function - y=f(x)/g(x)

To find the domain, figure out which values of x are allowed.

Range is to figure out which values of y are allowed.

Roots are when the function crosses the x axis.

Y intercepts are where the function crosses the y axis

Intervals you'd find by finding the turning points (if any).

Inverse function is when you switch the values of y and x in the function (ex: if the equation is y = 2x, the inverse would be x = 2y solved for y)
