Okay, I have an english assignment to rewrite a childrens story or nursery rhyme from a different point of view than that of which it was originally told from (ex. the book that tells the story of the 3 little pigs from the wolfs p.o.v.). I was thinking about doing that Tourtise and the Hare from the Hare's p.o.v. but can't decide on a lead. Any ideas? And what are some other stories that I could easily do this assignment for? Thanks for all suggestions.

I did that last year in school and i choose Cinderella (step mother or you could do one of the step sisters), other people choose things like, little red riding hood (the wolf), Jack and the beanstalk (the giant), Snow-white (the witch [i think]) i think it would probably be easier for you to do a story rather than a nursery rhyme the only Nursery Rhyme i could come up w/ is three blind mice (farmers wife) i also thought of Goldilocks and the three bears (Goldilocks) the little mermaid (Ursula)... that all i got hope it helps!!

There are so many! I always loved the Narnia chronicles and The Hobbit so they are definitely up there. However, for personal reasons, for me it has to be The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint Exupery. My Grandfather played the old pilot in a play when I was a child, hence encouraging me to read the book, which I fell in love with. It's such a wonderful parable, written for children and I buy it for any friend I know who has a child because it encourages you to think about your actions and how you treat other people - and roses! It's not a long book and there are entire sections I know off by heart because they have so much meaning for me. "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye".

an interesting project. My preference would be to do Goldilocks and the bears from the Bear's point of view. You could do a different approach for each bear.
