The project is to create a movie on Laura inglls Wilder(the author of little house on the parie) plus we have to find 50 facts about them including where we found them(website). I have no ideal what to make my movie about or where i am going to find all my facts. Please help me. ASAP ALso any tips on how to proudce a movie?

Ok I'm looking over a lesson for algebra and I really don't get how this answer works. What I have to do is multiply two equations to find the interception in the graph. But this makes no sence at all.

The question was:
4x - 3y = 1
x - 4y = 6

I multiplied the top equation by 1 and the bottom one by -4, and I came out with this:

4x - 3y = 1
-4x + 16y = -24

Ok the 4x cancels each other out. I add the top two equasions and end up with

13y = -23
y = -23/13

Hmm ok, now I need to find X... I take the bottom equasion and plug in the y value.

x - 4y = 6
x - 4(-23/13) = 6
x + 92/13 = 6
-92/13 -92/13

But now what? How do you subtract -92/13 from 6? I looked in the answers and its -14/13. How the hell did they get -14? Am I missing somthing?

ok i have to do a speech for history class and we are studying WW2 and the teacher is making us do an opening statement as if we were lawyers and i have to do mine over Defending the U.S., Britain, and France because they are accused of Negligence during the war because they didn't stop Hitler and Stalin and it is due on Monday. and it has to be around 2 minutes long

I have this HUGE history project that's like worth 2 test grades and 50% final exam grade. It has to be something about the Civil War that matches your interests and talents. So I picked music of the Civil War, since I'm really into music and instruments. We have to make this presentation really creative and it has to be 10 minutes long, so I want to make a video where my voice is the narration and I show pictures of bands in the Civil War, and pictures of famous musicians, and common instruments. But also, I wanted to show me playing popular Civil War songs like Dixie and the Battle Hymn of the Republic on the flute, piano, and fife (since I can play those instruments and they were common in the Civil War). I also want to get my friends to play snare drum and trumpet for my video. Does that sound cool or lame? Any tips to make my video better? I haven't started yet, so anything would be helpful!!!
