2. A ship's sonar finds that the angle of the depresion to a wreck on the bottom of the ocean is 13.2 degrees. If a point on the ocean floor is 75 meters directly below the ship how many meters to the four decimal places is it from that point on the ocean floor to the wreck.

1.
If h is the distance up the wall, then:
h / 24 = sin(58deg)
h = 24sin(58deg)
= 20.3532ft.

2.
If x is the required distance, then:
75 / x = sin(13.2deg)
x = 75 / sin(13.2deg)
= 328.4419m.

3.
If x is the required angle, then:
tan(x) = 125 / 196
x = 32.5279deg.

I can't draw here but I will show you how I got the answers:

1) sin(58deg) = x/24
0.8480481 = x/24
x = 20.3532 ft

2) tan (13.2deg) = x/75
0.2345478 = x/75
x = 17.5911 m

3) tan x = 125/196
tan x = 0.6377551
x = 32.5279 deg
.
