I would keep it very simple, as if you are telling a bedtime story.
Either use a video camera, or take digital still shots and make a Power Point presentation using slides (advantage is that you can type up the captions, or type quotes from the book. If you use direct quotes, always put in quotation marks and give credit to the sources as in a research paper.).
I would use dolls for the characters if you are taking photos, or draw pictures with little to no movement to animate.
I remember Laura Ingalls Wilder taught school at age 14 and later married one of her students who was 19 at the time.
If you can show the dolls or drawings of the people, telling where she lived, her mother and father and family, and how she met and married her husband. Maybe draw a colorfl map to show where she was born, where she taught school, etc. That would be simple enough and cover the major events and people.
You can start and end the film by showing her books lined up on the shelf, taking them down and opening them up or turning the pages, shooting still shots of some of the chapters, titles, or excerpts that match the part of her life you are covering, and ending with putting the book back on the shelf. Remember to give credit it you film or color copy illustrations from the book or covers, the same as using text.

The thing you have to remember about Wilder's appeal is that she was a pioneer's daughter who married at age 16 and was a school teacher all her life. Thus, she was an embodiment of the "American spirit." When she got older and put her memoirs down on paper, these became enormously popular because she was describing a world and lifestyle that had completely vanished (for instance, in one of her books, she describes living in a one room house that was dug into the ground with a grass roof; I believe it's the third in the series).

Start by googling the name to get your facts. You could also try your local library. Go to the desk and tell them you need facts about her and they can show you books all about her or even encyclopedias with her in them. As far as the movie: Come up with a fun way to present the information. Is this a group project? You could pretend you are the local news only you're from her time-period (it doesn't have to make sense, it's just fun!). What if she wandered into a time machine and accidentally ended up in 2007? You could start showing her around and she could tell you about herself in the process. Just some ideas. Hope that helps.

Your spouse STOLE from you? that's marriage? Is she on crack or something? Did she want it for taking part in bills or what? that somewhat sucks. i might say, get the hell out, yet then that'll finally end up costing you much extra. How are you ever going to realize something if she's gonna be like that? you are going to could desire to place your cash the place she will't get it in case you could no longer have confidence her.
