Im home schooled. It wasn't always that way I was in public school in 7th grade (im currently in my first year of high school) I'm not like a nerd or realy smart person I got bad grades and I got sent to C.A.R.E (detention) and stuff. I had friends and stuff. I was pretty much happy, untill one of my friends convinced me that I should try out band with her, I was going to continue vilion, but I thought it might be fun to try something new so i said alright. I was on my way to my frist class and I got called a band geek.It didn't get to me that much till' one day after class this girl comes up to me and asks me "Do you like girls or someting?" I was friends with someone who was bi but i'm not. OH MANN DID I GO AT HER, long story short she went home with a black eye and i went home for 3 days. So i came back and yet agian the same question pops up! I almost punched him too, but i rembered that i broke my finger form the last time i did that so i kicked him where it would realy hurt.

can you please help me this is a paragraph from a peice of coursework i'm writing(a novel opening) but it doesn't seem right i don't know what it is it just doesn't seem right can you suggest any way i might improve it or whats wrong with it. no nasty comments please thanks

I was sitting anxiously on my bedroom floor, the door locked from the inside and the music blaring. I sat there with my diary open on the night that it all went so, so wrong. The floor was vibrating and I felt my world spinning dangerously out of control and there seemed like nothing I could do about it. I looked up at the mirror and saw myself shaking uncontrollably, tears streaming mercilessly down my face like an overflowing river. I felt so pathetic, so trapped but I knew I had no right to feel like this, it was my own fault. I needed help and I knew who to call: Kady.

Do you homeschool? If you do do you like it? Do you dislike it? How long have you been homeschooling? And how much longer are you going to homeschool?
I'm just curious because it seems that just cause I'm homeschooled, my friends that go to public school kind of ignore me. The don't call, email. They always wait for me to call them. And when I do they say. "Sorry can't I'm busy"

Again, This is NOT my work. I am helping a friend with her English work. Also she does not have the internet. She is from Germany and she’s having a hard time understanding English. With your comments it is helping her to understand English, and also how to use it later. Plus I don’t want to get the wrong answer in showing her. That’s why I am asking for some extra help. Is that a crime?

i need to know if independant homeschooling is worth a try. im stressed, my parentsa re really poor and im working on top of that we dont have a house, unfortunately we're renting. my mom is sick and she cant keep the house clean or cook, so i have to, nd im a chrisitan and i participate in church, so i havebt really been taking care of myself lately, i hardly sleep. I CANT QUIT MY JOB! im offering to pay for my own classes, my parents dont have to pay anything and tht way i can help out more in the house and work and earn my own oney and not counting on my parents. I just don't know if i might get too distracted at home or i wont actually learn anthin im no very smart. Im not dropping out of school because I kno imma need it for my future, but if it was up to me i would. so at least im finishing school, just not Literally in school.
By the way I'm 17 years old.

I am 16 and in the 11th grade. I absolutely despise going to public school and I always have since I have began school. I fear I may end up failing or dropping out because of my mental instability. I have been trying to find information on homeschooling but haven't been successful. Could someone please give me some information or a link that can lead me to find out details like costs, time-length, laws (South Carolina), and the process of getting started. Any help is much appriciated.

My 17 year old son is in his 2nd year as a joint enrolled student at a local college. He gets to take one course at no charge. His other classes in the past have all been 3.8 or better. This semester he is taking College Algebra. He seems to be having a difficult time. Part of it is maturity. He is not applying himself enough and another part may be that it is too difficult for him. Should I take him out of college for now and let him concentrate on his high school studies ONLY ....or should I insist on him continuing with this course and get what he can from it?
