Is a Lighthouse keeper the same as a lighthouse warden?

i think the lighthouse keeper actually lives in the lighthouse whereas the warden comes in and out to check on it!

Sadly the lighthouse keeper is no more, they became a victim of automation and in the next fifty years or so lighthouse's themselves will disappear as all new ships will have satellite navigation..so sad

Probably, but there are none any more - the lighthouses are all automated.
