My 5th grader is learning how to do standard mesurements in math. Does anyone know of any websites that would be helpful in helping her to learn standard measurements? Please only serious answers!!

This must be part of the new math, because I'm not familiar with "standard measurements". Maybe if you can describe it a little, I could help.

EDIT: Have you checked your child’s math text? Most have a page (either inside the back cover or in an appendix) with the conversion factors. The two you sent me are pretty simple – just convert feet to inches and square that (1 foot =12 inches, so 1 square foot=144 square inches, and 16 ounces=1lb.) You might also do a search for “measurement conversions” on the internet. Here’s one site I found: http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0001660.html .
