I have recently been accepted to NESL, and I only know what I have been able to read online about the school. I was hoping to get some un-biased opinions about the quality of the school to help with my decision. Any advice or comments are welcomed!

I work midnights and am thinking of getting a degree online. From a good college, michigan state,(where I am from) or The university of Kentucky, (where I am living now)

Some people have told that employer look down on people that have gotten degrees online, as if they are not real degrees.

Is this true.? I can go to physical classes but doing things online would be easier for me with working midnights and helping raise my grand son.

what do you guys thinks. Do employers think online degrees are real .?

I am starting out with the basic, of getting an associates degree.

okay here's the deal, I was put on academic probation last semester and was stupid and retook the classes that I failed this semester and well failed them again and now I'm on academic suspension, here's my question, they told me I have to sit out one semester, can i just go and enroll in a community college for this semester, because I don't want to sit out a semester and I just changed my major to something I like more, or am I like banned from every college?

Hello, a question from Canada.
I was wondering when law schools calculate a candidate's Gpa, do they look at the entire school year that the candidate has attended?

In Canada, they only look at the last 2 years of undergraduate average, but what about in America?

I am doing six years of undergraduate program because I am in concurrent degree of music performance and business plus minor in Japanese and French.

So would schools in the states look at the GPA of whole 6 years?

I know it varies according to the schools but please give me the "generals".

Thanks

Ok I don't want to make my instructor feel guilty but I want her to understand something. She always give me Bs in her classes.

But here's my situation well you'll see in the letter..let me know if it's not wise and give me suggestions(this is not all of the letter):
Two summers ago I suffered a severe trauma(hint..my attacker is now registered as a sex offender!), that caused me to fail in college last year(I couldn't concentrate in school and had no desire to do anything, too depressed. All that changed this fall.) they suspended me and gave me one last chance(this current year). So if I fail or stay below a C-ish GPA I won't be able to go back to school. So I hope I get the grade I deserve and fair, and that I hope I get to go back to school next semester. Have a great Christmas!

---

That's all of the letters. I got 1 bs and two cs now. Final grades. I'm still at 1.8...

Suggestions? BE NICE THANKS!

Now that I'm working in the real world, I feel like an idiot for spending so much money to get a degree from an art college. I'm wondering if potential employers will think the same when looking at my resume. It has been 3 years since I graduated and I have good work experience. Maybe I could get away with leaving the degree off my resume...
I've worked my way up in jobs that are related to my degree, but I could've done it without going to art school - my co-workers did.

Hello, I'm a freshmen in highschool right now. I have big aspirations and ambitions for myself for the future. My dream always has been to get into an Ivy League School (specifically Harvard or Princeton). Well, for anyone who attends/attended one of these schools, could you please assist a student in need? Besides getting in, I kind of need financial advice as well.

Background info:
I have a 4.0 GPA thus far
I am in Key Club, Debate Team, Mock Trial, Model Assembly, and the Swim Team. I am basically doing the activities I care or am passionate about. I intend on running for captain or president later on: because freshmen can't
I am supposed to be top 1% in my class-- although tied with some others
Also, do you mind sharing what you received on the SAT's and ACT's?

I have big dreams, but my problem is making them come true... Could any student or alumni of any of these schools help me? My targetted future career is as a lawyer.

It specifically asks for academic, professional and personal development. Listing each significant position held, most recent first. Including dates, agency or firm, title, starting and ending salary, major responsibilities, and name and title of your supervisor.

And then it says "Your current resume, if it includes all of the above information, is enough"

I´m rooting for just the CV but perhaps an essay is something more elaborated and thus will be more benefitial, what do you think?
