I'm planning to continue my study to PhD. One of the documents ttat must be submitted is complete graduate school academic transcript (including percentage converted score). So, anyone can explain what percentage converted score is. Thx a lot ^_^

Some schools give decimal grades, such as a 3.5 or 2.6, while others use percentage like 94% or 85%.

What they're asking for is that if you had gone to a school that uses percentage grading to convert those percentages into equivalent decimal grades.

In other words, what does that 85% translate to? 3.0, 3.5, etc. This way, every applicant is on an equal footing and can be evaluated fairly.
