Hi, I am a sophomore at Santa Monica College a community college in Santa Monica, California. My ambition is to transfer to Cornell University as a Government major. By the end of this semester I will complete all lower division major class requirements.
I have a 4.0 GPA.
I am an officer in an honor society called Phi Theta Kappa.
I intern in a prominent Los Angeles City Councilman's office.
Consequently, I sit on the Transportation Committee and Affordable Housing Committee of a community organization called the Empowerment Congress.
I hold the position of "Commissioner of Community Relations" in the Associated Student Body.

Can anyone please guide me here. Do I have a good chance of geeting in? What else should I be doing?

Thank you so much!

In my research paper i am using MSN Encarta and Wikipedia. Both of them do not have an author. So by following citation rules, i cape up with:
“Capital Punishment.” MSN Encarta. Microsoft Corporation. Oct. 10, 2006
“Capital Punishment.” Wikipedia. Sep. 20, 2006. Wikimedia Foundation, Inc. Oct. 10, 2006

Now, when i want to cite it in text, what do i write in the parenthesis?

. . .I would like to know your personal opinion on any of these colleges and if you wrote more than "I like it," etc and explain your answers I will GREATLY appreciate it!

I just got my MCAT results. They're not very good. But I found out yesterday that everyone in my area did not do very good either. My GPA isn't all that great, 3.0, something happened. Right after taking my MCAT the University of Chicago sent me their supplemental application. Now I'm juggling in my head whether I should or shouldn't submit the applicatiion. If I don't it goes on their record that I withdrew which will come back to haunt me later. If I do they'll want to see more the next time I apply. Should I submit my application? The advisor at my college told me that U. Chicago happens to be more interested in students from my college.

i want to go into respiratory therapy and i am not sure if it is more beneficial to go for my bachelors then my associates. the associates and bachelors seem to both prepare you for the CRT exam where as the bachelors also prepares you for the RRT exam. The Bachelors program seems to have more classes as well of course..are these the only differences. Will pay be higher for the bachelors?

Need access to scholarly journals on soil chemistry
including things like
ion interactions, speciation, phyllosilicate minerals, humic substances, heavy metals in soil, organic chemicals in soil,
chemical process that affect fate, transport and availability of contaminants and nutrients in soils, precipitation/dissolution, ion exchange, redox reactions, partitioning and adsorption, etc.
I need to do an in-depth scholarly research related to a journal article and most everything requires subscription access I don't have. I live in Oklahoma City (am willing to go to libraries if that would help, but am not a university student).
