I'm trying to think of three main points to back up my thesis statement for a topic that I chose to write about. My topic is the way that sarcasm is used in two stories by two different authors.

What kind of things should I look for when analyzing how both authors use sarcasm in their work?

Any of your ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not trying to get inot Harvard or Yale or any of those fancy schools. (but it would be nice).

If I made ok/ bad grades in my past, can I imporve it and if I make straight A's, perform good behavior, good reports, nice presentations, and the best grades I can make. Is there a chance i can get into Harvard or Yale?

I'm trying this new thing where I get all organized, stop slacking off, pay attention in class, and make straight A's. If I do that and succeed....can I still make it or is it to late? I bet my bad grades are in my permentant record.

What is it like? (if you go there or went there or visited there)..do You think it's impossible for a B and C student to make it there? I can imporve but I doubt I will go there when I'm older..I make such horrible grades....

If I start improving my grades now, will I still have a chance to make it in there? Like if I made straight A's all the way? Good permaent record, good grades, nice behavior, and well written reports?

This school work is insane! I constantly find myself putting it off until the last second, which makes life more hectic than it should be. I want to just get it done before dinner, but when I come home I am too tired to start my work right away. All I want to do is just relax, but I can't when I have a ton of studying hanging over me. What can I do to get myself back on track? What really works?

My understanding is that McGill University and the University of Toronto are the premier comprehensive institutions in Canada. Unfortunately the professors at said schools don't match my research interests.

!) Is it shorter to take EdD (Doctor of Education) than PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) in the States?
My classmate's dad just spent 2 years to get the degree. But one of my friends in TC(Teacher's College) told me that some EdD programs takes 6 years or longer. I am wondering whether it is generally short to get EdD or it depends on which school you choose.
2) Then how to choose an EdD program with high quality and less years? Can EdD teach in the universities or colleges?

A piece of equipment has initial installed value of $12,000,000. It is estimated that its useful life period will be 10 years and its scrap value at the end of the useful life will be $2,000,000. The depreciation will be charged as a cost by making equal charges each year, the first payment being made at the end of the first year. The depreciation fund will be accumulated at an annual interest rate of 6%. At the end of the life period, enough money must have been accumulated to account for the decrease in equipment value. Determine the yearly cost due to depreciation under these conditions.

I'm currently enrolled in an MBA program in Texas. The program is accredited by SACS but not the AACSB. I'm starting to question whether or not I'm receiving the same level of education as those at other universities.

I've completed 3 classes and so far all of them have seemed to lack a purpose. I don't feel like I've learned anything that would be of assistance to me in the job market.

The class structure usually involves
1. going to class
2. listening to the teacher ramble about their personal experiences
3. going home and responding to a question via an online message board.
4. the occasional group presentation

...I'd appreciate it if somebody could share stories from their MBA classes. Were they similar to my experience or am I being shafted?
