The University of Alberta is a very highly rated grad school by North American standards, as are McGill and Toronto. There are about 20 Universities in Canada which have comprehensive graduate schools and these schools all have excellent worldwide reputations.

I have to commend you on knowing how to choose a graduate school. I have been preaching to students for years to pick a school based on their interests and not the name of the school. So kudos for you for deciding what you want to study and looking for professors who share the same interest.

Best of luck in your studies

Any way you look at it, i don't have self belief preparation can ever be a waste of time, no count what the age. There are human beings of their 60s, 70s, and previous who go back to college. in the adventure that they could do it, truly you could. 40-seven continues to be really youthful. you may want to nonetheless have 30, 40, or perhaps better years left. a lot of time to do your perfect with them truly than sitting round nerve-racking and speculating. you only get one shot. Why no longer income from it? best for you, and powerful success!
