I know something like that exists beause Texas Tech has a program like that, but i'd like to know if any other Texas colleges offer something like that, or even colleges outside Texas.

OK credit with a few late payments, and $20,000 of credit card debt. $2,000 monthly income after-taxes as a self-employed online index options spread trader. $1,500 after expenses (living with parents). Household income > $90,000.

Is it possible for such a person to get a low interest/intrest-free loan for duration of 12-14 months to pay off their credit cards?

I friend of mine got a Direct Loan Plus for his college son, this year, and last year. My friend said he did not use the money from the Direct Loan Plus, last year and doubts he will use it this year. My friend never saw the money. It was not deposited in his his account.

My questions are:
1. Can the student acess the Direct Loan Plus without his parent's signature or knowledge?
2. Where is the money deposited that this Plus loan provides?
3. Does the parent have to sign, when he acesses the Direct Plus Loan, at the time of the disbursement, of the cash?

...I'm 19 years old. I attended community college for a half of a semester and I didn't do so well. Now because of financial issues, I haven't been able to go back.

Does this consider me a failure? I've been called that recently...this is really a hard thing for me. I've applied for scholarships...and student loans, but nothing comes through.

I don't have that kind of money to go back right now. So my question is...am I a loser if I don't go back right away?

hi. am a student in the uk. am enrolled in college for 2 semesters. i paid for only 1 semester. and i don't want to join in for the 2nd semester. but my college is asking me to join in or enroll to another college and show them my enrollment letter. otherwise they'll inform the home office. will i be deported if they inform office. and if am deported, will they send officers to my place?

I understand you do not have to pay for a grant. and is it hard to qualify for a grant. right now i am working full time but once i start school i plan on doing part-time. therefore my small income will be even smaller. will my grant be based on my boyfriends income too?
