I'm looking @ UCLA and for a year for a non-resident it costs $25,827.23. Is that a good price? I have nothing to compare too so I really need some help!

Is that the tuition only price? Well either way for a private university in the top 50 that is not bad at all. Honestly it is actually pretty good. My university is private too but 3 years ago when i started tuition and various fees alone was already $27,000+ and currently for my senior year it is around $32,000......... My advise is $25,000 is not bad for UCLA but if you are an out of state student, you should factor in the cost of housing and meal plan and grab as many scholarship as you can now because the chance of scholarship in college is way more competitive and rare........... Best of Luck!! =)

I agree with the one who said to try community colleges.. After 1 year of that, you could attend UCLA as an resident student. I live near a public state university and their instate resident tuition is over $20,000 year (and the school sucks).. That's a really good price. GL

Try looking up community colleges in the LA area if that's where you live. You would be able to go to school for a lot cheaper and some of the classes might be easier. If you're just going to get general classes out of the way...it would be a good thing to check up on. It will save you a TON of money!

That is a moderately low price compared to other colleges. Nevertheless, it is a lot of money.

Obviously, that is a lot of money, but if you look at any private university of equivalent quality, it would be a lot more expensive.

I think that's about average. My brother is going to college next year, and his college is 25,000 dollars.
