I'm writing a paper on women's roles in the Swing Era (1930-1845) and I need to have eight primary sources, four that suport my viewpoint and four that do not. I don't know how to tell if the books I have are primary resources or not... Is a primary resource one where the person actually experienced it or what? I'm so confused!! Please HELP!

Hi,
I’m a freshman in high school, and currently taking 3 honors classes (English, biology, & world civilization.). I really wanted to do sports and clubs, but I can’t until my sophomore year because I recently underwent a lumbar spinal fusion. I want to go to an Ivy League school, to become a doctor one day. Do you think colleges will understand that I couldn’t do activities during my freshman year? I am really scared that they won’t accept me now= (

What are the requirements for an International student from India who has done her bachelors degree in Special education in Mental Retardation to get a job in USA. To my knowledge, in USA we have to get a license for the special education teaching. Since the student is from India, its obvious that they dont have a license. How do we get started on this matter. Where do we apply for a job and get licensed in this area. Thanks.

I'm looking to start college in fall 2009 after I graduate. I plan to move from south GA to Boston,MA for said college. I want to be pharmacist. I have family in Boston but my mom told me that i should stay in a dorm my first year. I really want to take my cat with me so I was thinking maybe an apartment instead.

I need scholarships to attend any college so I'd like to go somewhere nice if I'm going to work for my scholarships.

Please help with any ideas.

i am really confused by this question. how do i solve it?? can u tell me step by step if u can

The best selling dessert at Chez Russell earns revenue of $5000 per week. During Restaurant Week, they are required to give a 10% discount on this dessert. Because the owner is a crook, he decides to mark up the price the week before Restaurant Week and then give the 10% discount off the marked up price. During the marked up week, they still sold the same amount of pieces as any prior week. However, they expect to sell 100 more pieces during restaurant week. If the revenue from this dessert is the same for the marked up week and restaurant week, what is the normal price of the dessert, rounded to the nearest cent?
