You have a graduated, cylindrical measuring glass with a mazimum capacity of 250ml. All the marks have worn off except the 150 ml and 50 ml marks. You also have a unmarked container. How do you fill the unmarked container with exactly 350 ml in only two measurements?

Thanks,
Rosefern

I was thinking of "a release of tension by persecuting another" from McCarthy and Catharsis.

But, we could also say McCatharsis is "a quick release of tension usually cheap and standardized" fom McDonalds and Catharsis.

Any consensus?

I've been a care provider for many years and seena wide range of needs. However. the latest person sent into my care has a behavior I don't know if I can deal with. I'm hoping someone else in this field has encoutered such issues and can advise me in the right direction for some help. Ill warn you in advance, the issue pertaining to this individual are not pleasent, but they are real.

To make a long story short, this person will intentionally vomit their meals after they eat. This indivdual has a functioning level of a 2-3 year old child, but is an adult. So behavior modification, intervention has had no success. Basically anything that goes down, comes back. This person has to eat constantly to meet nutritional requirements. Are there any medical procedures, or other intervention methods that can be done to help the situation. I am ready to give up care for this person, as it is just too much. Any advise is appreciated.

Lately, I've been thinking about going back to school and studying pharmacy. However, was told that you have to be in school for 5 to 6 years to become a pharmacist. I'm 24 now and don't want to make such a long commitment to school. Is there any schools that offer a pharmacy program for less than 5 years?

All French nouns are masculine or feminine, and are preceded by 'le' or 'la' accordingly.

but suppose you are working in your lonely garret (!) inventing something absolutely brand-new, different, -never heard of before. Completely unknown. And you succeed....

"Eureka!" you shout, running naked into the street, - I've invented a new what'sit and I'm going to call it a `xzcqqpdzrrt' !"

But it's a "Thing", and therefore a noun.

So who, why, and when decides if it's 'le' or 'la'?

My Mom swears that I worded this sentence wrong. I told her that it was correct and the way it would incorrect was if I used a comma between great and big. The sentence is "You are a great big brother!" The sentence is not supposed to mean he is fat or large. Is this correct?

Okay, so this surprises me. I am a history major at UCLA and I was thinking that my degree is worthless (it kind of is). But that pales in comparison to the fact that only about 30% of Americans above the age of 25 have a degree. I don't understand how they make it in life, then? The average american salary is 40,000 a year, but if you don't have a degree - how do you reach that sum?

I am confused. Someone want to shed light onto the matter?
