2. = 3/8 (1/6 = 4/24)+(1/8 = 3/24)+(1/12 = 2/24) = (9/24)

3. If I am reading it correctly, you are asking what is 7 minus 1 1/4 minus 1/2 = 5 1/4

Find the lowest common denominator for the fractions and convert all fractions using that denominator then add or subtract.
1. 13 2/6 - 5 1/6
2. 4/24 + 3/24 + 2/24
3. 6 4/4 - 1 1/4 - 2/4
After you do the math, reduce to the lowest terms.
