i'm currently in my second year of univeristy, and i really do think it's btter to write your own notes so when you're studying you don't have to read all the unnecessay things aas well. but being in second year, there is ALOT more to study and so its extremely time consuming to write down notes, and then study them so by the time you'e done writing, you're way too tired to start studying it all, but it's quicker reading it all. so now i'm unsure of what to do. stop wriitng notes and just study the book, or continue writing notes even though it would take much much longer to get the studying done.
please help!

I am trying to get back into college, but it has been a long time since I graduated high school and I went to 3 different high schools, and I was wondering if anyone knew where I can get a copy of my SAT scores, and my high school transcripts. If I can just call the Board of Education in the state I went to school in or if I have to go through the school directly?

Also, how do I get things moving with the FAFSA forms, I have been trying to figure them out for 4 years, and doing it online is too much of a hassle. Is there a way of printing it out online and just mailing it in or do I need to do it online??

Someone please help me out?

Carol Chomsky in her article says "children should learn how to write first and then read later?"
How can I teach a child to write before they learn to read? I know that this might be a controversial issue as others might believe differently, but if i was to try this idea in my classroom, what are some activities or lessons in which i could teach children (pre-K - grade one) how to write before they learn how to read?

We were given an assignment in English, it is to write a report on a tourist attraction somewhere in the world. It doesn't have to be in the US, but can be. The only things are: it can't be somewhere you've already been, it can't be disneyland or world, and it can't be in MN, ND, MT, or SD. PLEASE GIVE SUGGESTIONS!!!!!! EASY 2 POINTS! =]

I was considering counseling.. but idk..

so I was just wondering if there are specific teaching jobs out there that help out in small classrooms or with individuals..

subjects I'm interested to teach:

-English
-Art
-Christian Education

I'm not sure what age group either.. all I know is I want a career that interact with people..you know? if there are other careers out there that anyone can suggest then go for it~ please..

I am confused about defining direct and indirect, specifically, if a line has various different slopes at different intervals, is it not either direct or indirect, or do the same rules apply as if it has a continuous slope. For instance, if between 1 and 10 a line has a slope of 8, and between 10 and 20, the line has a slope of 6, what is it?

I'm getting my BS-Nursing... and I was thinking about pursing a MBA. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this is a good idea? What are some career opportunities with these two degrees?

Also, if after I finish my BSN, and then get my MBA... would that allow me to work in a non-hospital setting as well? Somewhere just pursing business?

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks :)

I'm a college student now. Unfortunately, i can no longer afford it. I am not eligible for financial aid, pell grants, etc. I've taken out all the loans I qualify for (without a cosigner - don't have one). I look for scholarships online all the time, seems like they take me in circles. I really don't wanna join the army and dropping out is not one of my favorable options. I have a part time job, but its hard to live, eat, pay rent, and pay for tuition and books. I just want some advice. Maybe the best advice is just to drop out. Can anyone help me?
