Eri's answer is dead-on correct.
And, I would add, it's okay to ask your school why they won't accept the credits. They'll tell you the reason.

There are a lot of reasons why a school won't take transfer credits:
- If your old school wasn't appropriately accredited. For example, if it was a career school, then those credits often don't transfer
- If the old credits are too old. Most colleges won't allow transfer credits that are over 7, or 8, or 10 (depends on the school's policies) years old. They consider that you probably don't remember that info, and that the theory you learned is likely out of date by now.
- If the new college doesn't offer comparable classes. If they don't offer pharmacy tech, then they may not accept those credits.

But you can ask the new school why the old credits didn't transfer. They'll tell you, no problem.

Have you spoken to them about CLEP exams? If you think you have knowledge that is the equivalent of any of their classes (maybe your old credits are too old to transfer, but you do remember all that stuff), then you may be able to take an exam with the new school, and they'd give you the credits based on the exam. Worth asking about.

Some colleges don't recognize another college at all let alone their credits. Others simply don't offer courses similar to those you took at your first college and thus the credits can't be transferred. It's still annoying though. Sorry.

Probably because that other school doesn't offer courses in pharmacy tech. If they don't correspond to a course in that college's catalog, they won't accept them.

This is SOP for colleges, your credits are their income.
They have to evaluate each course against their own.
They can't be sure from just the description if they match.
