If you're into the outdoors, the Grand Canyon is a classic choice- hiking and rafting can't be beat there. If you're into history, London is a great choice- the British Museum, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, etc. For the paranormal, Roswell, New Mexico is tops. For exotic wildlife, Madagascar (off the eastern coast of Africa) is amazing- it's the only place in the world one can find lemurs. If you like everything, Washington, D.C. is the answer- the national monuments, canal system, and Smithsonian Institute represent the best of this country and the rest of the world.

I'm near Seattle, Washington. There is Mount Rainier and Mount St. Helens, the Space Needle, the ferries across Puget Sound, the monorail, Ballard Locks (for ships, and also a means for salmon to swim between their hatching grounds and the ocean), innumerable botanical gardens, the Seattle Art Museum and sculpture garden, the Pacific coast, various Indian reservations, the Seattle Aquarium, the Hoh rainforest (the only temperate rain forest in the U.S.), and MANY other things.

Come visit!!! :-)

Southeast Tennessee...you have Chattanooga with Lookout Mountain, Point Park, Ruby Falls,Rock City, & theTennessee Aquarium. You can then travel northeast to the Smoky Mountains National Park where you can see breath taking mountains and enjoy good quality family fun. There's the Dollywood theme park, go carts, outlet malls, dinner shows, winerys & golf courses. Of course in the mountains you have hiking trails, camping, horseback riding, wilderness watching & a native American museum. There are no more beautiful scenes on earth as the colors of the fall foilage.

The Great Barrier Reef in Australia. I have been there twice and it is unbelievable. People were snorkelling and scuba diving there and soon it will not be allowed. This is because people carry germs and pollute the water with suntan lotions, which are killing the coral and animals. The tourist guide said that the reef has the world's most dangerous jellyfish and at certain times of the year, they have to keep people out of the water for that reason.
