I just wanna know how many young people out there, (roughly teens to early 20s) actually end up spelling words like "you're" as 'ur' or 'yr' when they're at school or writing a paper for school. Another example: "cuz"= because.

Do you guys use "net shorthand" in those 2 circumstances more often or less?

Just mighty curious....& feeling uneasy about it.

I'm a junior in high school and one of those typical honors-AP-4.0-clubs-leadership roles-sports-church kids who like experimenting with many activities and excell in most of them, so please just believe me and I won't bore you with listing all my activities here. I am wondering what the best Christian colleges in the midwest (within about 6 hours or so from western Wisconsin) are, because I have had no trouble finding outstanding secular schools, but have been more and more interested in ensuring that my faith is developed along with my intellect at a Christian school of a high caliber. I've done research, but want to see if any schools have fallen through the cracks.

Please list the top ones (in order or not) in your mind, and maybe a reason why one is the best... Any suggestion helps, so thanks a lot! Have a stupendous day!

so, i am in the process of applying to colleges, and their asking about my "intended majors".. and of course i am not positive about what i want to be or major in, but i am thinking about being a pediatric nurse.

what majors would i be taking? pre-nursing?
i know i have to be a registered nurse as well.. but all in all, would i be taking pre-nursing or something else? nd also, this is just for the application correct? they can't really make you choose what you want to be right away do they? cuz im not even positive and its so confusing and frustrating.

any insights will be greatly appreciated. thanks<3

Hello, I was wondering if it was possible to get accepted into Vanderbilt University (in Nashville, TN) with a GED. I did not graduate high school and I have always wanted to go to Vanderbilt since I was 13 years old. I am now 25 and going to be trying to get my GED. I would like to go to Vandy but not sure if its worth the effort if its not possible. Am I only able to get into low end and volunteer colleges with a GED?

Any help on this issue is appreciated, Thanks in advance.

April.
