I'm sitting here watching this show on discovery channel about planets. They're talking about neptune having wind speeds up to 1,000 mph. They also said that if you put a windmill (like those used to generate energy today) in the atmosphere of the 1,000 mph wind, the windmill may not even move, or it could move slowly. How does a windmill not move in 1,000 mph wind?
Also, If Pluto is 2.7 Billion years away from earth, made of completely ice, and Neptune is 2.6 BIllion years away and has wind and water, how does this happen?

I received my AA degree in (Technical Education & Humanities) in the Spring of 2004. Ever since I graduated from a California community college, I've been taking more classes to increase my GPA a little more.

Hopefully, I'll get to that 4 yr. college I've always wanted and that I've set my ambitions on.

Am I considered an Undergraduate?

well as tutition for students attending colleges that DO NOT include Living Expenses. We're all students that's going to pay back the same type of loans as students with (housing) Living Expenses covered. I've been out of school since May 07. I can get all the grants and government loans for titution but can't find Living Expenses grants/loans because of my credit. Look I have to pay back what's owed already but can't continue college because I have no where to Live! I'm from Texas and trying to continue my education in Atlanta GA, because of my field, and I have no co-signer's in my family eligible for a loan, what can I do. I hope to return by fall 07' THANKS for all response and best of luck to everyone.

I am worried that i will end up in a small, po-dunk college in the middle of nowhere.
Last year i ended up with a GPA of 3.83 (unweighted), took 3 honors classes and latin, and am this year taking latin II, AP World History, and 3 more honors classes. Do i have a chance to go to a good university?

I would like to major in Preveterinary, PreDentistry, or Premed... Any universities you would recommend would be terrific help...

What is a Liberal Arts college and what is the main difference between a regular college?
