Just type in the name of the college you are interested in attending, and there is all sorts of information available on these web sites. Remember, when you are not a resident, you will pay out-of-state (higher) tuition than you do now as a resident. Still, I can totally understand why you want to attend college in California.

The University of California system has several branches: Santa Barbara, San Diego, Los Angeles, Berkeley to name a few. The climate is much like Florida minus the alligators, and hurricanes. I loved living in California when I was younger and I hope you have a wonderful experience, too.

You will need an unofficial transcript for advisement purposes to compare to your new college's program of studies. When you apply, you need to request and pay a small fee for official transcripts to be forwarded to your college in CA. An academic advisor will evaluate your credits and usually if they are "C" or better, all credits transfer. That has been my experience, both as a student and as an academic advisor.

Best wishes.

There isn't any such website because no one has a problem with people transferring from one state to another. Not all colleges take transfer students, they may take limited numbers of transfer students, and you may not be able to transfer from one college to another because the quality of your prior college is considered too far below the one you want to transfer to, but the fact that you are tranferring from one state to another is a non-issue.
