When I get out of school, I wan't to start making money right away. Why is a college degree so important if i could just get a diploma (or whatever you call it) from a vocational school and still make good money? I don't want to go to school for a really long time. the most i want to spend in school is 2 to 3 years at the most. so what do you think i should do? because the job i am thinking about doing, i can go to a vocational school and get out in 2 years and make big bucks or get out in four years, but with a degree and make the same money.

I have started with 1-5 for the last 2 weeks or a little more and she still can't say wish one it is just by me pointing at them she only knows 1&2. We have done worksheets, games, and writting them but nothing seems to be working. shes 4 and will start kinder in September. Just trying to get her ready.

Hi, I've finished my masters degree and have some time to reflect on it. I know what it's worth in the job market. But, I feel the slightest of pulls toward working on a PhD.

For those of you who have earned a PhD or the equivalent (e.g., EdD), would you be kind enough to share with me some of your life experiences?

How about the simple pros and cons on working towards a PhD (e.g. time, cost, workload, etc.) and the simple pros and cons about work prospects (e.g., can I find work other than teaching or working for the government, realistic earnings, etc.) after earning it?

I'm not sure if I truly want to pursue it and can use some advice here.

I was wondering, how can I get into A college? not...a BIG one like yale or stanford or anything like that.

I maintain a 3.7 GPA... and I take all honors classes..

I'm going to continue doing french language throughout highschool (i'm doing french 3 for 10th grade)

I'm planning on taking 2 sciences for 10th grade... and a few AP classes in Junior year. probably... AP history, AP art, AP biology/chemistry.....

I don't know.. just regular stuff. lol.

I don't stand out as much, but I do work hard....

Any advice on how to just get into any college? lol. My dream was to go to Cornell in New York. But that seems TOO much of a dream. lol

She said this word to about someone but I am having a problem explaining her what it means.
She looks up the word in the dictionary but I know that is not the real meaning of it!

OK so I just passed my qualifying exams for the PhD program in Electrical Engineering. Sometimes though I have doubts about continuing. Has anyone dropped out, and did you regret it? What kind of job did you get? Should I just shutup and do it? Sometimes I feel like I want something simple like being a florist...haha.

Okay, I'm NOT cheating on a school assignment, I just kinda need some help. In the Hound of The Baskervilles...
