Yeah,i've been slated in the past for using my chip and pin too much, often ending up between a rock and a hard place. Now however, i no longer walk on stoney ground and even have shares on wall street. The secret of my success, bricks and mortar.

It took me a while to cotton on to the thread of your yarn but I'd say that solid finance is towel intents and purposes a security blanket.
