I'm considering going back to school to become an ultrasound technician since in Detroit the only field that's even hiring is the medical field.

I've been searching relentlessly for schools and community colleges that offer courses but there don't seem to be any in the metro Detroit area. I don't see any courses for ultrasound, just radiology and I don't want to be an X-ray tech. Am I looking in the wrong places? Thanks!

This may seem like a strange question, but the answer is irritating me so much! If any (UK) students here took the Unit 4 Business Studies exam in January, the AQA paper, can you tell me what the case study was? I've done it and passed it with an A, so I don't need to retake or anything, I just can't remember what it was about, and the website hasn't published them yet. Thanks!

I study at a public French high school/middle school. I've been studying French at quite a high level for six years, and getting good grades. I really enjoy languages, and I love France!
When I’m watching a French movie, hearing a song in French etc., I understand most of it. However, I speak pretty dreadfully, due to the fact that, for an unknown motive, my French professors detested me and did not allow me to take much part participating during the lessons. Anyway, I took a few beginners’ books in French and started reading them.
I’d appreciate any practical advice on improving and preserving my French.

My son will be 5 in Sept 19 . I want to homeschool him through K12.com that is affiliated with our state -Florida virtual public school- because it's free and they provide all curriculums&supplies and also the tests are free by certified teachers.However they don't accept him because he was born after Sept 1st . They ask me to pay 600$ for supplies +94$/month . I can't afford all that . If I wait another year, I feel we are loosing time . He had a kindergarten eligibility screening and passed it very well above average but they still don't accept him because he was not born two weeks earlier ! . Any suggestions? Any other free or cheaper curriculums for kindergarten? If I go with another curriculum , will they accept him in 1st grade next year? And do I have to pay a certified teacher for tests ? Any experiences with k12?

My boyfriend is leaving for college on the 18th of August. He'll be in a dorm with two of his best friends, they are two of my good friends also. I'm going to a community college so I dont get experience the dorm thing yet. What are some necessities in a dorm that I can include in a care package for them. Wht are little things that college students always need? I always get the answer raman noodles...which I can send. But one of his roomates father is a chef and so he knows how to cook, so I dont want to send too much of that stuff. I'm hoping some college graduates for current students can help me. I am planning to be a Family Doctor and I want to know which colleges have the best premed course and that I have a decent shot of getting into. I have a 4.0 GPA, 3rd in my class, 1750 SAT (1210 combined), participate in Track & Field, Basketball, National Honor Society, FBLA, Mu Alpha Theta, Diversity Council. I have been Student of the Month and received many other awards such as Who's Who. I take all AP and Advance classes available.
