My boyfriend is leaving for college on the 18th of August. He'll be in a dorm with two of his best friends, they are two of my good friends also. I'm going to a community college so I dont get experience the dorm thing yet. What are some necessities in a dorm that I can include in a care package for them. Wht are little things that college students always need? I always get the answer raman noodles...which I can send. But one of his roomates father is a chef and so he knows how to cook, so I dont want to send too much of that stuff. I'm hoping some college graduates for current students can help me. What do you need and always find yourself in a lack of? Please help! I want to send them things they all need. Thank you!

Seriously...just snack type food, laundry stuff (detergent/dryer sheets), maybe movies they will like, etc. You may also want to googl "college care packages" that may help.

The one thing a dorm resident always needs is more space. Anything that you can think of to help him make the most of the little space he has would be appreciated.

RE: Cooking, don't expect his talented roomate to do any of that for him, even if they are sleeping together. :P Time is also a very limited commodity.
