How do social factors contribute to diversity?

please help i need to know as im doing this bloody crap course and my mind has gone blank as all the questions are similar so are my answers up to now

I don't think social factors contribute to alot of diversity unless that person specks another language or is from a different state or country I think it's more about where your from.
