For Example: In order to maximize our revenue, we need to think outside the box and facilitate our resources and utilize our task force team to generate a win-win situation.

Why can't they just say: If our company doesn't make money, you will be let go.

Can somebody explain why, in both corporate lingo terms and in simple layman's terms? I will be much obliged and reward you handsomely with 10 units of Yahoo rewards if you can reveal your competency. Or in other words, 10 points for the best answer.

I am looking for a law school that lets you take credits at like 6 or 8 a semseter. I already have a phd in Engineering and work full time as a research scientist. However, to reach senior scientist status, you are required to complete a JD. I am willing to do this, but I have a young family (wife, an 18 month old, and another one on the way). If I could do the classes at half the rate of part time, it would be ideal so I could still spend time with my family. Any suggestions? (maybe wait until my kids are teenagers, but thats 15 years or more!)

I am taking a Childrens Literature Course, and I have such bad writers block right now. Anybody have any good ideas. Any help is very appreciated.
My assignment is:
Write a 500 - 1000 word story using the word list below as a guide:
whisper
slide
flag
cup
patch
leap
candle
sing
brush
float
The words can be used as story starters and the story can include all, some, or none of the words listed and be for young children up to teenagers.
Anyone have any good ideas? I am just stumped. The one's I came up with seemed really stupid and boring.
Thanks in advance all.

It's almost a challenge to read some of the questions and answers at this site because so many can't spell or punctuate. I can't help but think it has to be a problem teaching proper English. It seems that people is really spelled ppl. I can't say much because I have grandchildren who are doing this, too. English was my favorite subject in school and college and I cringe when I come across someone who does a lot of text messaging. It's obvious by all the abreviations and misspellings. How do you get the students to use proper spelling, grammer and punctuation?

Good luck to you.
