Education & Reference - 27 April 2007

So 2 questions here. I have suffered with a slight stammer all my life, but cope by thinking carefully before I speak, and rehearsing. Sometimes though in my rush to get the sentence out before I 'hang' either the wrong word pops up, or a word gets mangled.

It happened the other day when I was a group of people, some who I know, and some strangers, we were talking about films, and I was horrified to hear myself talking about that well known film "Pulp Fuction"

Question one, should you apologise, explain or ignore it and carry on, especially with strangers?
Question 2 anyone got any tips as to how to get over this?

My life is a real life soap opera full of interesting and important information, learned through many wonderful experiences, as well and hardships. I feel that with my knowledge of english, drama and psychology and my life experiences would make for some interesting reading or atleast I'd have fun writing my story. I have two student loans, one is a private educational loan, which is killing me because they are charging 10% interest, and the other is through my alma mater, the interest rate on that is 6% if I’m not mistaken. The total of both loans is about $13,000.

Does anyone know of a company or non-profit group that can help me consolidate these loans, so I can have one low monthly payment? I would appreciate any and all help. Thanks in advance!

I've heard that it's much more difficult to get a job as a teacher if you have gone to graduate school before getting into the actual field. This didn't make much sense to me but the reasoning is that they have to be a new teacher more because of the higher degree. So would it be wise to go into graduate school right after my undergraduate work or work through it while teaching?

If so, I was wondering if they are beneficial for a C5 quad, I am 2 yrs post injury and have always used a powerchair, a straight manual chair so far has not been very practical for me. My issues are I have are zero triceps, no wrist extension, and no hand/finger function. I have heard about the power-assist manual chairs and they look pretty cool. Any advice would be great.

My essay question is this- Elizabeth Bennet, though witty and intelligent, would have probably been viewed as an exceptional woman in her time, yet she still conformed to society's expectations of women.

I really love science... my parents say there are no well paid jobs... i want to do bio chem and phy 4 A-level
My parents say English gives more opportunity, and therefore it would mean i would be more likely do be better paid.

I am in pharmacy school and the cost is about 15000 a year the school has budgeted 20,195 for the year, I have been awarded 3500 for the year. How much will my school award me since my parents are denied, there is no possible way I can come up with the other 10,000!
