It seems that good grades and college is all they care about and if you don't go to college you are presumed to be a loser. This is just my view from an Aussie point of view any insight would be very much appreciated.

I know what it looks like on paper, but my son can't decide. He is an all-state football player being recruited heavily at U of R, but not at Brown. He likes the Rochester area over Providence. They both are reknown for his field of study (cognitive brain science) I think he is leaning towards U of R but can't see himself turning down an Ivy League education.

The story begins with the boys night out, everybody was drunk and I ended up taking up on a bet that I could survive on a deserted island for two weeks. That very night we sailed out, picked a random island and dropped me off. But as I am soon to find out the island is not deserted at all. Ok, I have lots and lots of ideas on how might this story develop but I need some interestnig suggestions. Please don't tell me to write about animal attacks and volcanos (etc...) I can not distinguish the pronunciation of "scoundrel " and "scandal ".

I concentrated and listened the pronunciations of two words many times.

But, I can't still distinguish them.
I'm very mortifying.
