Do you know what? I read this question, and my mouth still opened, even though you mentioned the mouth-opening thing.

It's the "heel" of the palm. The foot has a "ball" but the palm does not. Also, you don't "itch" your eye, although you might rub it with your palm.
And no, my mouth doesn't open if I do that.
