I love quotes and I would love to hear your favorite. One of my favorites is "This too shall pass," from King Solomon. I would love to hear your favorite quotes, big or small, funny or sad. This is your time to tell the world the words that inspire you!

I fly with EasyJet twice a week and every time a plane lands a senior member of the cabin crew announces over the tannoy, "You may now disembark the aircraft using the forward exit." But disembark in this sense is intransitive: the correct phrase should be, "You may now disembark FROM the aircraft using the forward exit." Is it just me?

Hi, I am a sophomore in high school right. I am usually a 4.0 student and have been since about 4th grade. So, anyway, my high school is on a block schedule; like we have 2 terms a year, basically half the year one set of 4 classes, other half the year another 4 classes. So, this term I had AP Spanish.if u are wondering how I had ap/spanish 5 as a sophomore in hs,its b/c: I took spanish 1 in 8thgrade, spanish 2 first term 9thgrade,spanish 3 second term 9thgrade,spanish 4 first term 10th grade, spanish 5, second (this) term 10thgrade. Yea,and I got a D in it.It was SO hard for me especially with Chemistry and Advanced Algebra besides that class.and so I dropped the class after midterms.but still,I now have a D on my transcript for the class. It was a 72% but still,on MY teacher's grading scale,it was a D. a C minus, the next closest grade, was a 74%.Yea,gay I know.So now I'm scared. Will I still be able to get into a UC since I have that D on my transcript now?should I retake the class?

ok so i got accepted into rutgers pharmacy program and st. john's university pharmacy program. Now as some of you may know, one school is in New Jersey and the other is in New York. Now from what I'm told not only would you have to take a national licensing exam, but also you would take individual state certification exams. so for example, person that wanted to practice in NJ would take the national licensing exam followed by a respective state certification exam. Now my father says that St. John's may be better than rutgers b/c it prepares the student to take a NEW YORK licensing exam as well as the national exam. As a result, a school like St. John's, although statistically weaker than rutgers pharmacy, would be more beneficial to me if i was to get licensed to practice in NY (this seems to be the most probable situation after a graduate). This works the same way for rutgers since it's in NJ (same premise).

What I want to know is...is that true? Or does it not matter what school, no matter what state it's in, you go to as long as it has an overall strong program (which in that case I would go to Rutgers)?

I know its a ton to read but im really lost and need serious help. HELP!

I've been a business analyst with a major company for the past 6 years. I get my MBA next month and would like to see about changing jobs in order to make more money as well as pursue a career path with more growth opportunities. What are the best resources for finding jobs for fresh MBA graduates? My undergraduate degree was in Computer Science, but I would like to use my MBA education more than my computer science skills. In case the school matters, it's UGA, in Georgia, and I live in Atlanta. Are there companies looking to hire fresh MBAs that I should contact or should I just be using standard job search engines?
