Could someone please help me out with these two problems??

Thank you so much

1. x^2 / x-4 - 7/x-4 = 0

2. x^2 / x + 3 - 5 / x+3 = 0

If you mean these (parentheses added):

1. [(x^2) / (x - 4)] - [7 / (x - 4)] = 0

2. [(x^2) / (x + 3)] - [5 / (x + 3)] = 0

...then we can solve these pretty easily, since the denominators are the same. For your first one,

[(x^2) / (x - 4)] - [7 / (x - 4)] = 0
(x^2 - 7) / (x - 4) = 0
x^2 - 7 = 0
x^2 = 7
x = sqrt(7)

Your second one would be similar:

[(x^2) / (x + 3)] - [5 / (x + 3)] = 0
(x^2 - 5) / (x + 3) = 0
x^2 - 5 = 0
x^2 = 5
x = sqrt(5)
