Stanford says that they want to see you engaged in many activities. I understand. But i dont understand what they mean by being involved with research and projects. I mean i can't work in a lab full of proffesors as a high school sophomore/ Junior can i? Please explain. Thank you :)

So, there are the 6 digits of the zip code that one has. But then there are the 4 extra ones. I normally put them on, but I was just wondering if one always has to do that, if you're talking about domestic mail. It's a bit annoying to have to keep on looking zip codes up.

I've forgotten the historical battle, but there was an event where two armies fought, and only 2 soldiers from one side and 1 from the other survived. Something specific (name of the town, name of the battle, name of a person, etc.) about it became known as a(n) ___________ victory- meaning a victory that is won, but perhaps the cost was too great.
