To do the best you can, study hard, ask lots of questions, and be involved in class.
However, be careful; not everyone is cut out to make straight A's. I have some students who are brilliant socially, but have learning disabilities and cannot pull anything higher than a C. I also have students who are simply slow learners and also cannot pull high grades.
Make personal goals for yourself. If high grades are important to you, perhaps raise your grades one grade level the first semester, then go from there. Or focus on one class a semester.
Don't burn yourself out and don't feel like getting straight A's is the only way to success. Some teachers give A's to whoever does all the work correctly, others give A's only to those who's work is far above average.

Its not just doing your homework I think.
Its also a matter of actually understanding the subject material.
Go to your teacher if you need help.
Also, do the homework from a couple nights ago, again. The more practice you do, the more you'll understand.
Good luck!
