I have no idea what to do here, any explanation would be great.

In the figure the large mass disk has mass 2 kg radius 0.2m and initial angular velocity 50 rad/sec and the small disk has mass 4kg radius 0.1m and initial angular velocity 200 rad/sec (about 1900 rpm). A) find the common final angular velocity after the disks are pushed into contact. B) Is kinetic energy conserved during this process.

When ever I tell someone I homeschool my children I am told they are missing out on social skills. Then yesterday a study came out clearly showing that Childcare causes behavior probems. It is the first study that directly linked Behavior problems with child care. And made it clear that the quality of child care Did Not matter. Quality preschools also caused behavior problems.
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/03/26/us/26center.html?hp
Take a look at it. Ever since I pulled my children out of school there behavior has been so much better it is amazing. And my son who used to be shy around other children is now begining to act much more social with the kids in our home school group. I can't help but wonder if in time they will find that public school also has the same negative effect on behavior.
I am not knocking school I am just saying maybe that the social skills the children are learning are not really as good for them as the schools say they are.

I am home-schooled, and I have been told by many that I am very intelligent. A genius, even. I am an excellent writer, a wonderful strategist, and basically very good at everything my mother gives me… Except math.

My mother tells me that I will not be able to achieve anything if I do not learn math. But, I do not think that I ‘can’ learn math. It is like, my mother will give me something, like adding fractions, and it will take me hours to finish, and my mother will have to tell me how to solve the problems repeatedly. And after I learn what she is trying to teach me, I just forget... It is funny. I have been able to write and read on a college grade level since before I turned ten, but I still have trouble with my times tables.

So, does my inability to do math mean that I will never go anywhere with my life?

I'm a high school student and I am not sure which medical career should be mine. I am deciding between becoming a pharmacist or an M.D. in a hospital. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to which medical books I could read to help my decision or medical books I could read to study either profession.

Okay well I have a couple of questions about homeschooling:
1. How can I socialize? I have gone to school for about 11 years now and I have a couple of friends. I don't do that well socially in the first place anyway so I don't know if having no social interaction would be a good thing.
2. Can you get in a good ivy league college if you are homeschooled? I know this sounds like a longshot but I want to go to either Yale, Harvard, Princeton, Tulane, UCLA, Rhodes, Columbia, or John Hopkins.
3. My mom works full time so I guess my grandmother (Who is a retired public school teacher.) would have to do it. Also I heard that you have to get some kind of permit and I don't think my mom would be willing to take all that time to do it.
4. I do horseback riding and I would have a lot more time to get practice and get very competitive. Plus, I would have an extra $7,000 a year. (My private school tuition cost $7k a year.)
So what do you think? Thanks for your answers!!

If your school doesn't allow you to take more than 18 credits a semester, can you still take DANTES/CLEP test and get credit. I'm taking six classes and want to take one or two dantes tests, does anyone know if schools accept them, cause that technically would be more than 18 credits.
