How do you keep an intrest in your book you're forced to read? For school, I have to read a book called Brady. It's really boring, but I have to read it so I wont fail English Class in school.

I also have a question packet about 4 or 5 questions that I have to answer after I read every 2 chapters. And yes, they are long chapters. I have trouble reading (but my mom is going to hire a tutor) and I am in 5th grade. I dont even have "backround knowledge" about the time of it. Like it was in the 1860's. I dont know anything about the 1860's or anything that actually happened.

Anyway, I just need help on how to keep an intrest in a book I HAVE to read. Please Help!

I have a BS in Elem Ed and Early Childhood with my Master's in Adaptive Special Ed. I worked 4 years as a K-1 Sped teacher and 1 yr as a Early Childhood Sped teacher. I'm wanting to get out of teaching, but I'm not sure what my options are as to what I can do with my degree and still work in education. Any suggestions?

I have about 28,000 in student loans. about 5,000 is fixed at 6.8% and the rest is variable rates, around 7%. I graduated in December and am still in my grace period. So should I consolidate now, where I would get about 6.75% interest rate to start out or should I wait and see if I can get a lower interest rate in the future. I've heard there's a chance interest rates could take a big dive in the next few months.

I will be graduating from college in May and I have no idea what to expect. Do you usually stay in touch with your friends or do you drift apart from them? Also, what do people do for fun once they are no longer in college? Is it hard to make new friends?

I am a 5th Grade teacher and I was wondering if I should allow my kids to watch Napolean Dynamite or not. Some kids said it was inappropriate, but I think that those kids just didn't want to watch it. Please be VERY specific and tell me exactly what is so innapropriate about it.

just to get the kids a little ahead of the game and to spend more time with them while they're still in their very young and easily influenced stages. the question is WHERE DO YOU GET EDUCATIONAL LEARNING TOOLS? say if we wanted to test drive it first and not nessesarily commit to the idea. the kids are 4 and 3. any info would be great.

i'm doing a research thesis paper and already have some good sources, i'd just like additional information.

i'm focusing on the fact that male and female brains are different. i'm also focusing on the traits of empathy and systemizing, and tying that into the roles that mothers and fathers play.

if you know any good books or websites for or against my thesis please source them. thanks in advance!
