Roles of the mother and father?

i'm doing a research thesis paper and already have some good sources, i'd just like additional information.

i'm focusing on the fact that male and female brains are different. i'm also focusing on the traits of empathy and systemizing, and tying that into the roles that mothers and fathers play.

if you know any good books or websites for or against my thesis please source them. thanks in advance!
