i am a 10th grade student taking ap classes and for my ap government class i have to write a research paper on effects of mass media on youth, the topic is easy, but i have never written a research paper before only essays which are 5 paragraphs and about 800-1200 words, how much should a research paper be 1200-2000 i am guessing, but i do not know the appropriate format to use can someone plz help me, i would ask the teacher then he would say if u cannot write a research paper u should not be in an ap class, its due next on friday so help immediately

My teacher for AP Biology is a retard. She doesn't teach anything, just does nothing. The test is coming up in May, what can I do to pass the test. I am willing to study on my own, but is there any suggestions of any books to use or how to do it? Books other than the text books?

I earned an associates degree for electronic technology at this community college a year ago. if i decide to go for another degree (accounting) at the same school, would i have to take the same courses over again? for example, i took english comp I and II, calculus, psychology for electronic technology. Since those courses are also apart of the accounting program, would i have to take it again? remember i'm not changing majors, i already have an associates degree. i'm trying to get another associates degree in a different field, would i have to take those courses again?

I am in a debate for one of my college classes and it is over state funding for faith based schools. I was put in the positon of favoring for it. So far I have some information such as lottery catering to the public education along with vouchers. I have the act that President Bush as well as Gore wanted to pass about the state funding. I also have information about the environment for both private and public schools. I also have misuse of funds used by public schools. Is there anything I could be missing? I have never done a debate before so any help would be appreciated.

This question comes up in quizzes and the answer given is that it is black (so that no-one can read what she has blotted). But how would you know if this is true - not just something that gets copied from one quiz to the next? Like the question about military equestrian statues - supposedly the number of hooves raised shows how the rider died, whether on the battle-field or not. This turns out to be false, according to Snopes.com (and the UK quiz show, QI), but it still comes up in quizzes.
And what colour is the "black box" flight recorder carried on aeroplanes? And how do you know?

This is a HUGE problem. I sometimes get scared to go to school just because I know that I will probably get called on to read out loud. It is so strage though because I am not a shy person at all but when it comes to reading my hearts starts pounding so fast, I start shaking, my eyes begin to water, and when I first start to speak my voice is crackling and I sound like I am going to cry or something. I am in 10th grade and this has never been a problem throughout school untill now. What can I do? have tried Talking to the teacher, but she just acted as if it was nothing and laughed about it. She said that she would still call on me and that its not her problem and i should see a phsycologist. Please Help!!
